Project Details

Our client approached us with a great idea to convert 1 large bathroom into 2 rooms, 1 would remain a family bathroom with a shower over the bath, sink and toilet the other would become an additional bedroom.

To achieve this we drew up some floorplans and 3D renders and opted for a stood wall to divide the rooms giving a completely separate entrance to both rooms. We added a slimline window between the bedroom and bathroom which we frosted out to give more natural light to the bathroom whilst retaining privacy.

In addition due to the client having limited sight, lighting and the flow of the rooms was imperative to the client so we installed motion detecting PIR lighting to light up the floor in a subtle yet timeless action.

The biggest obstacle with this build was the location of pipework both waste and water feeds. We utilised our professional plumber who redirected them all under a new purpose built floor allowing us to install a slim in-wall cistern in a new position.

Client was shown many styles of tiles and flooring and visited with Keiron to showrooms to help chose the complete product list.
