Project Details

The client asked for a design that would reflect the already stylish period house they live in. As this bathroom was part of an earlier extension their was a large step into the bathroom and so we raised the floor to allow a more comfortable step down and made the most of the new floor level by adding under floor heating.

A dwarf wall was built to give some structure and bespoke element to the shower area. Thought was given to the function of the shower and the position of the shower valve to be accessible before entering the shower.

Due to the non-standard portrait window dimensions we advised a fitted bath underneath would be best suited to give perfect symmetry to the room. We then discussed with the client on options around the bath housing that would result in the bathroom becoming functional whilst retaining the obvious style and class of the bathroom from the moment you open the door.

Wall mounted taps, bath filler and in-wall cisterns were used to keep the slick lines of the bathroom.

Client Feedback

"We’re thrilled with our new bathroom! It completely captures the character and style of our home. From the word go, Keiron took time to understand our vision, gave sound advice and followed the project through to a beautiful but practical and comfortable outcome."
